    Yeah weekly, but mi4 is now EOL, so I use 1 month old ROM.

    You do download global rom for your device, copy it to internal storage, start Updater app, MENU > Reboot to recovery, then hit Install button and select global rom, in the end wipe user data. And backup data before you start if necessary.

    So if you wanna switch to official (global I guess) then you use manual install form TWRP.

    More like MIUI issue than ours cause it works just fine on mi4 with xiaomi.eu ROM.

    The real problem was lack of storage permission for Updater app, in some cases it had to be enabled by user in Security Center.

    You can try to sign off then sign in to your google account.

    Try to kill Updater then enter again, this way you will refresh URLs in database. Statusbar settings > Use app icons (or similar)

    If enabled top notification of any app shows its quick actions. For example when you get text message you immediately see reply/delete actions in statusbar. If disabled there is regular notification.

    You can always get more than one update, it happens sometimes.
