Thanks I just decided to update my mi11 to latest stable update and got the same issue trying to install OTA with latest TWRP [BOOT]3.6.2_12-Mi11_v6.3_A12-venus-skkk_c5a45bf1 installed in recovery_Ramdisk , so at the time instead I just booted with twrp from PC doing the command and rom flashed...

I don't have that permission but battery life still not good got worse since updated, before update used to be around 40% by late evening now its like 15% by late evening usage is the same :(

You don't need to format data , can just update and keep data , yes you need to turn on USB debugging

Noticed dark theme mode the apps that don't have dark option don't go dark With 12.5 they still went dark and had list to select apps individually

Yes you need to unlock bootloader

Just tested its not restarting phone on mine .

This can't be flashed using twrp it's not recovery ROM it's fastboot ROM Maybe later on get recovery ROM which can be updated with twrp but you'll have to wait

just flashed mi 11 from stable xaomi.eu 12.5.16 to 13 using windows_fastboot_update_rom.bat no data loss, everything seems to be working fine, thanks for the great support :)
