Man, This was it!!! No need to flash the DEV ROM, just wipe format all in TWRP (with the yes confirmation), copy the ROM and install directly. IT WORKED !!! I can finally enjoy my new phone! Again, thanks for the great help, all of you! And repeating myself, a big up for the MIUI EU dev team...

Hi There, Thanks for helping, I am also in the same situation (XM8 Boot loop) with TWRP 3.2.2. When you say wipe everything, is it from TWRP ? Is the one by default (where you swap the bar) or do you need to go to advanced and check more options ? I have basically done it all over from scratch...

Hi Community, I am on XM8 and got TWRP 3.2.2 installed, I am also experiencing Boot loop as well. I have first installed the MIUI DEV ROM and then the XIAOMI.EU ROM. I have made the Wipe /data partition and re-installed but still in the same Boot loop. Any idea what else to do ? Thanks a lot!

Problem disappeared after I reinstalled the ROM, the perf are great again so far. I am just afraid to reboot it.... Note: my phone data were encrypted when I was having the perf / settings lost issues, not sure whether there is a relationship or not...

Same here....I got the same error msg using the updater APP (I am not sure why this was advised in tutorial as the weekly ROM was always installed from TWRP...). I have install TWRP 3.2.1.0 and when trying to install from TWRP, I cannot see the data folder, but just some system folder...

MI5S 4GB / 128GB ROM looks good so far, new feature with the home screen is working. Well done!

5S 4GB/128GB no bug to report so far. ROM runs smoothly, also the battery looks OK, I havent noticed any particular battery drain. My FC bug on the Message app (super annoying) has also disappeared. Well done folks!

I have seen some people do a Factory Reset to get it restored. This was happening following the update to Android Nougat, I guess I m part of it :(... Damn, this is gonna take a lot of work.

MI5S 4/128 Still having the issue with the SMS Messaging crashing... It was working fine at the beginning and all of a sudden, started to crash again... Cannot write on see any of my SMS... Anyone having the same issue ?

I can download of course, just sharing a feedback that those APP might be useful too, like the BAIDU Map, which used to be removed too and now was kept. If I m just speaking for a minority, then it makes sens to keep them removed indeed...
