U need to completely format data with the "YES" confirmation, I got the same issue the first time.

I am also experiencing some unlock issues, I cannot say it is 100% working and many times I have to go through the pattern thing. I think they have changed the sensitiveness when u take the phone and place it in front of your face; Sometimes the phone doest turn on (I have enable that feature)...

Same issue here as you mentionned so far: - GPS bug: Works after reboot - BT bug: Works after reboot - Reboot bug (randomly, I havent found a pattern yet) Those bugs are kind of annoying hope they ll find a solution soon!

Same issue here, most of the time you ll have to reboot your phone to get it working, same issue with Bluetooth.

Hi All, Just to report that my MI8 works just fine with the new ROM 9.7.19 after doing a dirty flash (<=> WIPE Dalvik Cache only), so far there is no need for a Format All once you have installed the XIAOMI.EU rom. Goods news :)

GPS doesn't work at all on my MI8. I am located in China and can't Fix any GPS at all... is that related to the Global XIAOMI.EU ROM or a bug of the tel ? Edit: I have install GPS FIX app and updated the AGPS, restarted the phone and the GPS all started to appear my magic :)

My bad, not reset button but "Reboot" button; Once you can see the 4 icons (Airplane / Silent / Reboot / Power off), clicking on the Reboot button will give you a new screen with 3 new buttons: Fast Boot mode / Tap to reboot / Recovery mode (all having a nice icon)

One feedback I can share with my MI8, seems like "encrypting" your phone doesn't work and will corrupt the system. After trying to encrypt my phone, my phone couldnt load the GBoard anymore and I had to format / re-install everything.... Hope this can be fixed in the future :)
