For the Mi Mix 2 it was 72 hours, which I thought was stupid at the time, but this is seriously nasty - I will have to re-back up my phone and reinstall the thing after a week of usage. That's a few hours work again :'(

My phone for some reason connects to the PC as a charger. In the top bar somewhere I can choose USB options and tell it to connect as a USB device instead of charging.

I have found the setting, turned it on, set update frequency to every hour, off using mobile data, and subscribed to all. Then I have set the app permissions to allow storage, but it's never downloaded or changed anything for me either

I am using 8.3.29 and when I run the updater it says I am up to date. I also have really bad GPS connectivity. I will try to update to 8.5.8 but I understand you have to wipe /data before you do this, which I'm not looking forward to :(

In the changelog it says MI6 and MIX2: Please make backup before update to 8.4.26 and make wipe /data in case of bootloop Does this mean factory reset it before updating? Will it delete all the apps and pictures etc on the phone?

waze stopped working, homescreen sometimes comes up very slowly. Trying to go back to 9.1 on mi mix 2 but this has led to a reboot loop. Reinstalling this got rid of all my contacts.

I just set it and it works very well and very fast in fairly low light. I am quite impressed allthough I turn it on with the finger recognition, which seems faster to me

On a Mi Mix 2 whenever I start Waze it says Unfortunately Waze has stopped. Send bug regport to Mi for analysis? ... So I have sent the bug report. I updated from 7.12.28,. where there was no problem. I have tried clearing the Waze cache but this does not help. Any ideas? Cheers!
