    MIUI 10 9.5.9

It must be related to some app you installed because I don't even have it on my Whyred:

The WIFI settings widget has a plain white background while its icon is cyan and my screen has a black background with Night Mode enabled. This widget would be nicer with a partially transparent or dark gray background instead of this flashy white.

Thanks but LOLO9393 and Igor Eisberg already gave the answer to this noob question. I still feel ashamed for having not found this parameter by myself though :/

I'm far from using every features of my rom or all the apps that most of people here use. According to my own experience, both roms run fine but the 9.4.25 has the french language that lacks in the 9.4.18.

Thanks but I browsed carefully the developer options and I didn't find anything related to the reboot. Where is it exactly and what's its name?

    MIUI 10 9.4.25/26

While my Whyred had the previous rom 9.4.18, I messed up so badly that I had to wipe System and install again the rom and everything else. But since this new installation, the 3-way reboot feature is missing. Everything else runs fine. I hoped it would be brought back by the new rom 9.4.25 but...

You have to format the DATA partition in ext4 instead of f2fs.

My bad. I missed this explanation. Anyway, I beleive that if upgrading a non compliant TWRP makes sense, overriding a perfectly compliant one should remain the user choice.

Same here. A pretty weird behavior. I had to install back OrangeFox R9.0-2.

    REDMI 5 CANNOT FORMAT DATA

I got this issue on my Whyred after I wiped the data partition. The culprit was the TWRP that formatted it with the f2fs filesystem which Android obviously struggles to handle. After I formatted it again in ext4, everything ran fine.

It didn't set my Whyred on fire yet, but I never use the stock camera software. I only use HedgeCam2.

    MIUI 10 9.4.11/12

I had the same issue after installing the rom. I often have this problem after a rom update because of Camera2API that my camera software is set to use. I manage to make it works by setting persist.vendor.camera.HAL3.enabled from 0 to 1 in the file build.prop

It still works fine on my Whyred.

This ROM runs fine on my Whyred with Magisk 18.1. The only flaw I found so far is on the reboot selection menu between Fastboot, System and Recovery. The icons are displayed properly but the texts are invisible, probably because they are black on my black background. Fortunately, the icons are...

I also have this annoying message since the rom 9.3.28, not about the theme but a widget. I didn't find how to get rid of it yet too :/

I believe formatting data in only required to switch from an Android version to another, such the 8 to the 9. If the Android version remains the same, wiping Dalvik and cache before installing the ROM looks enough to me.

If you have Automate, you can give a try to this flow that active or unactive the DND mode each time it's launched. https://puissanceled.com/vrac/RN5/Automate/Silence_toggle.flo
