With this version, and previous also, in my mi9 don't work automatic brightness of screen. I hope not a hardware problem. I have same issue also after a clean install of rom.

Mi9 performance very good, battery seems ok. The led remain off when receive message, or whatsapp message, AI button not open google.

What version of TWRP you have? I have TWRP by mauronofrio but tell me "twrp: not found"

Xiaomi mi 9 after flash this version bootloop in recovery, not possible boot normally. I flash last version but problem persist. Only one solution was make a "format data" in twrp and flash again loosing all.

I have this version in mi9 and work well, only a bit battery drain more than stable. This morning I received advise of update version 9.4.1. I think new versions exit on Friday, have to wait tomorrow and take from here or can make upgrade directly from phone?

Mi5S. Sure camera api v2 enabled? Opencamera not "feel" it enabled, in my old nexus 5 in options possible chose if use api v2 or not, in Mi5s no. So I suppose not enough add a line to build.prop to enable the api. Every addition information will be welcome ;)

At my opinion, best for drain battery remain the version 5.12.22. Another way is root device, install xposed framework and app Amplify, with this limit some wakelock that create battery drain. Also setting Settings/Battery & Performance/System Animatons/Hide System Animatons as suggest from Ilir...

Greenify or similar go against internal system for preserve battery, so suggest not install. At my opinion best version for low battery drain remain 6.12.22. Last 7.1.12 is better than 7.1.5 where battery drain was much higher, 6.12.29 was a nightmare for drain battery.

MI5S, after some hours: 4G bug fixed, battery drain better than past release but not better than 6.12.22, fingerprint sensor faster, photos at first sight seems same.

Exposure time depend of how much long sensor take light with shutter open. So, long time expositions need lower speed of shutter. In my example for make good photo at night need low iso and long time exposition for compensate the lower sensibility isos. I hope to explain good, sorry for my bad...

I mean lower speed, because for make good good photos with bad light, should stay with low iso and for compensate have to set lower speed shutter, so the sensor take more light ;)

I noted that not default camera apps have a limit, shutter speed not lower than 0.3 sec. This is a bad limit for manual photos when light missing. In default app camera possible in manual mode set up to 32 sec. PS: Editing build.prop and add "persist.camera.hal3.enabled=1" not change this limit.
