Hi All, I can posting this on behalf of a friend, who got a Hongmi just before xmas. The reported specs says 8MB, but I can only set 1, 2 and 4MB using the standard camera app.. MIUI-JHACNAH1.0 and JB 4.2.1. Thanks.

aditoma, Whoops - forgot to include that I cannot see developer options :( Some threads say to press build number 7 times, but that is not applicable here.

It reports a completely wrong number. How is this obtained and more importantly, how can it be changed? Its says "079-138-09919" and is a dead number. Thanks

I dragged to see the "Toggles/Notification" menu from the top of the screen, then pressed "More", then "Guard" (my phone anyway). Infact, when in "Guard Mode", you will see a symbol that looks like an upturned portcullis symbol. See attached image.

redmanner, thanks for your suggestion. however, I don't know where/how to find "Guard Mode", nor do I see any "Add Widget" when I press the left side button with the 3 horizontal lines (the menu button?). Any further help is most welcomed.

I see the guide using MIFLASH, but it says it for only in last ditch situations. If I want to revert back to a level of ROM ie like when I first bought it - straight from the box, whats the best way to achieve this? Thanks.

I have deleted from apps (they were chinese market related stuff), and now I appear to have lost the ability to edit my Home Screens. It all may be a coincidence. Pressing the screen does nothing. Is there a way to recover this function (or undo the deletions)? Thanks for your time.
