It's caused by default region of Xiaomi.eu. I've solved it modifying build.prop. You need to be root and use Build.prop Editor. Then, you need to change this line: ro.miui.region=PL To this one: ro.miui.region=IN And default region will be changed to India. It will solve volume problems.

I've been used Global ROM of Xiaomi.eu and problem persists, but in Beta version stock and Xiaomi.eu it's solved. Try it! Works fine!

I had the same problem, you can change region with rooted phone and BuildProp app. You need only to search this: ro.miui.region=PL Change it: ro.miui.region=IN And restart your phone. India region works for me and the difference is very notable.
