Talking to myself here but might help others... After flashing the modem.img from the recent EEA image everything seems to work again.

Yes, if you mean this link: https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/fix-networks-for-garnet.73169/#post-727880 However I changed the modem.img to the latest version as stated in my post above. The one that's in the initial post is outdated and it was on my phone when I could not add the eSIM.

I just realized I could add my eSIM but mobile data no longer works. If I try the EEA instead of the GLOBAL firmware will I lose the already registered eSIM? Any help appreciated.

I have a Garnet device. Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G. After scanning an eSIM QR code I get below message saying the eSIM could not be added and a channel with root security domain could not be opened. It also says to restart and try again but that does not help. I have the 2.0.4.0 image for Garnet and...

Just installed this on GARNET with the Fastboot method (windows_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format.bat), no TWRP. Have not tested much because the SIM is recognized but no reception, zero bars :( Anyone else on GARNET?

I am trying to migrate to a non-Xiaomi.eu ROM, not from. And if Xiaomi wouldn't make unlocking the bootloader such a damn nightmare I would probably migrate between Xiaomi.eu ROMs and wouldn't need to beg for help like I am. Believe me, it's not fun. I would rather be done with it in 10 minutes.

The "correct" app for my not so exotic purpose of wanting to migrate data from my old phone to my new one. The issue is described in the posts above. The responsibility kind of lies with me anyway for everything I do with the phone. doesn't it? Do you have an actual helpful hint for me? :emoji_frog:
