If you enter the settings from some pages before (also on XDA) with Premiumsim it works perfectly (need to add in line MVNO "IMSI" then it works!!...as descripted)- flyingjack

wiped system and dalvik cache and reinstalled the previouse version in TWRP....but after receiving the OTA notification, installation went well and ROM is flawless...strange. I am on 3.3.0 B17- flyingjack

Mi9: updating from 9.5.16 is leading to a complete laggy ROM......freezing, icons are disapering, face-unlock not working, etc....I am on TWRP 3.3.0 going back to the previous version (9.5.16) system is flawless....- flyingjack

Seems to be related to a network issue of SIM2, but only with this particular ROM.... going back to 8.12.13 is fixing the issue!- flyingjack

Anybody else problems on Mi8 with finalising setup (message that setup will be finalise does not disappear) and getting Google services validated? Updated from 8.12.13 and wiped cache.....- flyingjack

Missing the point of this request!....switching off through hardware button will remain enabled anyhow, therefore from my perspective no benefit. If hardware button would be disabled, how to turn-off or start into bootloader when phone got frozen?- flyingjack

Got it working after several attemps of installing/uninstalling (not crashing anymore) but it is not possible to uninstall system apps (Music player, Browser, Email etc.) back after each re-boot....yes Magisk etc is installed and SU granted!!!- flyingjack
