Smart Thermometer/Hydrometer Clock Screen not refreshing properly

Got the exact same error here, device was about 3 months in use. Seems bricked. Very disappointing. Unfortunately, I purchased the device via the Amazon marketplace. The seller (SUMALOGS) refuses to repair or replace it as part of its warranty obligation. Any service from Xiaomi?
