thanks!!! Now I've finished editing the whatsapp and GTD app, and it's now working.. So happy, now the only bug annoying me is the contact pics displayed small pictures. Another is the buggy and laggines in MIUI launcher. Hope it'll be fixed tomorrow and I've got all my problems solved. :D

No it's not all whatsapp faults. Because not only Whatsapp have that problem. Even GTD task app can't select notification sound. And I've never this problem on other JB ROM (tried AOKP, CM10, Codename, Paranoid, and other AOSP based ROM). It must be the MIUI ringtone picker code faulty that...
