I have a Mi Mix 2 with xiaomi.eu_multi_MIMix2_8.1.25_v9-8.0.zip and when I flash in TWRP the xiaomi.eu_multi_MIMix2_8.2.1_v9-8.0.zip when it boot allways have force closes. May be I must flash with wipe dalvik, cache, data and partition right? Thanks.

This error 7 appear me when i go from cm13 to xiaomi.eu weekly, i do that process and fix my problem after try lots of things. I only try to help ok? May be your error is not exactly as mine i don't know, my problem is error 7 too.

I see my notes, make this, i hope it can fixes your problem. Try to boot in recovery, wipe (data,...) and reboot in recovery (without installing anything) when you rebooted, flash miui without wiping.
