Note for global ONYX users: Global/EEA ROMs weren't released yet, which means no new modemfirmware.img for now. You can keep waiting or try flashing modemfirmware_ww.img from the previous ROM. In theory, should work.

Could you please tell me how to flash modemfirmware_ww.img to my Onyx sir? Should I flash it after upgrade to Hyper OS 3 or before? I plan to flash HyperOS 3 with fastboot method

Signal may not work, although we don't know it for sure, so feel free to check it out. As far as I know, it was the case in HyperOS 2.

in my country it is fine updating to HyperOS 3 without flashing the old firmware, but its not me who already done it. maybe tonight I will try it.
If I did it and got a problem with signal what are the steps to flash modemfirmware?. There is 3 files.

1. modem.ig
2. modemfirmware_ww.img
3. modemfirmware.img

Sholud I flash all of it? or just one, and which one?

Hello, bug report: Xiaomi 15 (DADA) device, upgraded in a dirty manner from the latest version of HyperOS 2 by Xiaomi.eu. After the update, notification sounds stopped working (notifications themselves are received, and sound works in various apps on the phone). When trying to set a notification sound for any app, a message about a failure appears, and nothing happens.

To me, contacts sync perfectly. Try to restart the phone, or uninstall and reinstall whatsapp. I did not update as first install, but whe windows_upgrade.
I still have the same problem. The contacts generally synchronize well with the Google account, but the problem is that WhatsApp doesn't recognize those contacts. I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling WhatsApp, and it worked, but after about 20 minutes, the problem returned. Can you help me by telling me how you installed the ROM? Was it via fastboot on Windows or via TWRP

I also use the same device in India. Signals are even stronger than India globle Rom in Chinese modem. I am using xiaomi.eu rom since last three months & definitely all things are improved all over.

WhatsApp started maintaining separate contacts list. Go to WhatsApp settings > Privacy > disable Whatsapp contacts. Then sync the contacts. It may solve the issue.
